Off Page SEO
Off Page SEO - SEO Article
Off page SEO is a big part of your SEO program. If you really want the main search engine rankings, you'll have to eventually turn away from your site and view the Internet in a different way.
SEO is a complicated beast. It includes many variables that are considered in order to be justly evaluated by SE's. Organic search engine traffic is by far the most valuable tool in any SEO campaign's article. The magic number you are searching for is around 78%. If you can achieve that kind of organic traffic, you're getting the top ROI possible.
If you were to break down SEO into two categories, you'd have On and Off Page. The off page SEO is what you need if you want to get a higher page rankings.
Off page SEO, by definition, is connected to beefing up your site's link popularity. That is the amount of back links that point to your site from elsewhere on the Internet. There are many free tools for checking Link Popularity! Here's a great resource for tools http://tools.seobook.com/rank-checkers/.
There are many off page SEO techniques:
Content
The best way to conduct your off page SEO tactics then is to insure that you have unique, highly informative content. When you have great content other webmasters will want to link to your site. If they just copy and paste the content from your website to their website that becomes a violation of intellectual property. Make people want to link to your site. This is the most preferred of all off page SEO techniques and it will increase the number of hits as you increase the amount of links.
Email other websites for link exchanges that are relevant
There are sites with links pages in which they accept any and all links they can trade for... and most of the links on those pages are not even relevant to each other or the site they are on so far as content material is concerned. Most people get this kind of link page by joining a link farm and that can damage the page rankings of your site with Google instead of helping it.
These link farms are easy to join and get links on but this is not advisable. Link scams and schemes are disapproved by Google and other major SE's, so read information on Google's site about "bad" linking methods, this will assure you of more success in the long run.
Bulletins, Chat rooms and Forums
Communities are everywhere that are about exactly what your site is about. Find some of them and join. You can't just spam them with links to your site, though. You must become a contributing member of the community in order to remain. You can put your link in your signature and it will show everytime you post something.
Community websites, Craigslist
Craigslist is a well-known classifieds website. To have a link on Craigslist go to the site, choose the category that is relevant to your website, post your advertisement with your link. No one even has to read the ad you just need to post it. But Craigslist ads don't last forever, they expire, so return to re-post your ad frequently.
SEO Articles
There are countless article "pools" on the Internet where people can submit articles, and for every submission you'll be given a resource box where you can talk about yourself and your company or website.
Having some of these article websites that have high page rankings linking back to your website could go a long way to increasing your page rankings. So think about it, if you will submit even just one article to dozens or even hundreds of these article directories, you would instantly have that many inbound links.
