How does it work? Building Sites with EverDream Web.
Every web design firm uses its own process in building out a website for a client. In some cases, this is done ad hoc which can lead to numerous miscommunications with different expectations, unfortunately. To prevent this from happening, EverDream Web has laid out a simple process of eight stages to make sure both client and designer are on the same page at each phase of the project:

Stage 1: INTRODUCTIONS - Q & A
Once we have agreed to a working contract proposal and a 50% down payment has been processed, EverDream Web will email you a Project Summary Report in which we will seek to learn your goals and specific business needs from your new website. You will need to provide as much detailed information as possible so that we can begin to research and design our Phone Conference with any and all required project leaders (#2).

Stage 2: PHONE Conference with Project Leaders
After the Q & A form is returned and reviewed by us, EverDream Web will develope a spring board plan and call you to discuss your goals in more detail, your budget, your competition, your concerns and your timeline. At this time we'll explore areas you may not have known about while we reach out to learn things about your company we may not have known about.

Stage 3: MOCK UPS
At this point, EverDream Web will begin to design mockups of your site based on reference sites or other criteria you've submitted in your Q & A form. Once the first mockups are completed and sent over to you, we ask that you review the work and respond with comments or concerns on what you like and/or what you would like to see improved. This is a critical and fun part of our project together as we'll be creating the look and feel of your site, but we'll also be doing work that is difficult to change later... thus, we encourage a very open forum and line of communication with you.

Stage 4: DESIGN SIGN OFF
Once you have signed off on the details of the graphics and mock up site, EverDream Web will then proceed to the next stage: actually programming the website. It is important to realize that once the layout is approved and EverDream Web begins programming the layout, some subsequent changes to the layout design may incur extra fees (depending on the nature of the changes requested). So, it is very important that all tweaks are done in Stage 3 before layout approval is made.

Stage 5: PROGRAMMING
EverDream Web will take the layout design mockup and program it in to a working website (beta website) on a test server. You will be able to view the beta website at various times during construction after EverDream Web sends the beta website URL to you. One single template page (often called a "dummy page") will be created first to show the client a "what you see is what you get" version of the programmed design. Once you have approved this programmed template, the rest of the website architecture would then be built out. Please note that during construction, some or all buttons, navigation and any flash animations may not be functional or up and running yet.

Stage 6: CONTENT FILL-IN
After the website architecture is fully programmed, you should email/mail website text, photos and any other page content (PDFs, etc.) to EverDream Web for the pages on the beta website. It is preferable that the content be supplied in Word format (for large websites, it is often nice to have one Word document per major button/section). Once the content is received, EverDream Web will place all of the content on each respective page. We ask that all content submitted be finalized and in its "final form" to avoid delays in getting the website live. In addition, if copy revisions are substantial (after copy was already received and placed on the beta website), the client may be billed for the extra work. So, it is important to submit copy in its final form.

Stage 7: WEBSITE REVIEW
Once all content is in place on the beta website, you will need to make a comprehensive review of the website to address any last minute tweaks or changes. Please note that the final balance payment must be received before the website goes live (Stage 8).

Stage 8: FINAL APPROVAL / WEBSITE LIVE!
Upon final approval of the beta website, EverDream Web will upload the new website to the site's web server, thus making it "live" on the web. At this point, the website contract is completed and any additional changes or tweaks thereafter would be billed at the hourly rate. A maintenance contract is available in case you will need monthly updates to the website using EverDream Web Web Design.

Stage 9: SEO CAMPAIGN
EverDream begins your SEO campaign. You've worked hard to get through the design and development stages of our process and now it's time to apply the keyword and industry research we used to create your site, to the most important part of having a website, GETTING FOUND! EverDream exceeds at rapid, ethical SEO campaigns that yeild results. Your site is guaranteed 1st page rankings in most (and often all) of the keywords we choose to "push" in your SEO campaign. This is where the rubber hits the road for your comapany as you are guaranteed traffic from your campaign and it's up to you to be prepared to deal with the emails, purchases or phone calls generated by that traffic.

Stage 9: ANALYZE, ADAPT & IMPROVE
As we track all of the data from your SEO campaign, we learn a great deal about your visitors and their activities while on your site. We learn what keywords brought them there and we can then translate the information into a plan to emphasize what works and eliminate what doesn't, always putting the efforts into what will yeild the highest ROI for your SEO campaign dollars.
